Tree Order: Willow, Poplar and Lime

The Malpighiales is a large and diverse order with mostly tropical plants. Willows and Poplars belong to them, too. Both belong to the family of the Salicaceae

Order of the Malpighiales – genus Populus

  • Amber with some kind of Poplar

Order of the Malpighiales – genus Salix

Passion Flowers belong to this order, too.


In the order of the Malvales are e.g Cocoa or Hibiscus – but from the Tree Year project we have Lime trees:
