Various Tree Orders

The beginning with grouping the trees was easy with the conifers. Today we have some from different orders. I think it’s interesting that the plane belongs to this group of more exotic trees.

Order of the Magnoliales

Order of the Proteales

Order of the Saxifragales

One Response to Various Tree Orders

  1. Edward Frank says:

My tree is a tuliptree (Liriodendron tulipifera). I wanted share with everyone that recently members of the Eastern Native Tree Society measured and climbed a tuliptree in the Fork Ridge area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park here in the USA. The tape drop confirmed the trees height to be 191.9 feet (58.5 meters). This makes it the tallest native hardwood in North America!!
