A happy New Year to everyone – Peace!
If you have decided to support the Tree Year Project – or will do so – put the tree year icon on you webpage or blog and let let me know about it. I will then put your page on the blogroll!
Add this code (maybe you have to remove the “” and retype them – they seem to make some problems if only copy/pasted! and put the whole code on one line)
<a href=”https://thetreeyear.wordpress.com/”><img src=”https://thetreeyear.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/baumjahr.jpg” alt=”The Tree Year” border=”0″ width=”150″ /></a>
You’ll have seen that I’ve added the icon as a link to my blog! Thanks for adding me to the supporters list here. xx
Eh, see the first gadget on the top right side of my page. Your code doesn’t work. Great idea, but execution needs some help.
Thanks Katie for pointing out the problem with the code. I can see some strange quotation marks – but I can’t seem to fix it.
People who have problems maybe
1) put the whole code on one line
2) re-wright all the double quotes.
Hope that help.
Rewriting the quotes worked.
The second gadget is one I made and does work on my blogspot blog. I’ll be deleting and moving gadgets by the end of the day. I hope this may help you, so your project has a good following. I’m excited by this. Thank you for initiating it!
Hi dreamfalcon, you might want to consider adding a link to this post on the sidebar of your blog so it’s easy to find the widget.
best, neighbor
I linked the logo – thanks for the idea!
I have posted a blog linking back to this blog. I can’t seem to make the code work on my blog though…

We are so excited about this project. I put your logo on my blog. Changing the quotes worked. Thanks so much!
Welcome to the project.
You’re right, the Apple tree is kind of hard to see – but I bet as soon as you’re able to get closer you’ll see lots of things. And don’t forget: it’s not only about the tree but everything on and maybe around it!
P.S. I don’t have a google account – that’s why I can’t post on your blog – maybe there is a way to change this?
